Utah Reception in Nanjing, Jiangsu - December 2, 2009
On December 2, 2009 UTIER hosted a Utah Reception in Nanjing, capital of the Jiangsu province. Leaders from the business, academic and government sectors came together to discuss projects that UTIER is involved in and to hear remarks from Jon Huntsman, US Ambassador to China and Xu Ming Vice Governor of the Jiangsu Province. Both of these leaders spoke about the important role that UTIER plays in facilitating technology transfer between China and the United States and in promoting environmentally sustainable economic growth.
